"Russian Visual Arts: Art Criticism in Context, 1814-1909 is an online research archive documenting the growth of diverse forms of commentary on the visual arts (particularly painting) in Russia from the early ninteenth- to early twentieth centuries" (from project web site; please see for more details).

An invaluable research resource in an exciting new area of French cultural studies the site comprises profiles of nearly 200 Francophone film stars, film descriptions and a database of references of press, radio and television coverage of Francophone film celebrities between 1949 and the present day. Publications selected for the database give a broad social and cultural perspective on film stars and the star concept. General mass-market titles like Paris-Match and Voici are complemented by titles conceived along the lines of gender, sexuality and age.

The Modern Cuttings Collection held by the British Cartoon Archive (formerly the Centre for the Study of Cartoons and Caricature)is based on the cuttings collection begun by the BBC Library in 1961. The BBC Library stopped collecting cartoon cuttings in 1991, and a few years later the archive passed to the BCA, which has continued the process. This project saw the digitisation of this entire collection, and its cataloguing as part of the BCA's online database.

The Henry III Fine Rolls Project is a three year Resource Enhancement project, commencing in April 2005 and funded by the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC). It aims to publish the Fine Rolls of Henry III from 1216 down to 1248 in English calendar format, in both print and electronic form. There is a fine roll for each of Henry III's fifty-six regnal years. Recording offers of money to the king for a multiplicity of concessions and favours, they are of the first importance for the study of political, governmental, legal, social, and economic history.
