TXM

Textometry, born in France in the 80’s, has developed powerful techniques for the analysis of large body of texts. Following lexicometry and text statistical analysis, it offers tools and methods tested in multiple branches of the humanities and is statistically well founded.

The project brings together Textometry software developments of the academic field to set up a modular and open-source platform called TXM. It is both an heritage of international influence and the launch of a new generation of textometrical research, in synergy with existing corpus technologies (Unicode, XML, TEI, NLP).

The TXM software is delivered for free as a desktop application for:
- Windows (32 et 64 bit) ;
- Mac OS X ;
- Linux (32 et 64 bit).
As well as a web portal software: to get on line access to corpora through web browsers, with access control builtin (See demo portal: http://portal.textometrie.org/demo/?locale=en).
