Collaboration details
As an editor in academic publishing, I help orchestrate conversations between scholars, designers, programmers, and readers—groups that tend to misunderstand or miscommunicate with each other. I am interested in collaborating on a variety of projects:
1. The correlation of critical editions with manuscript transcriptions (so-called open-source critical editions), and commentaries and translations with critical editions.
2. The development of business models for sustaining digital humanities projects, particularly reference works (I would like especially to start a Digital Encyclopedia of Early Christianity).
3. Modeling organizational change in academic societies and university presses, to accommodate new business models of scholarly communication.
