I have had experience working on metadata creation and management, and I'm familiar with a number of data standards, including: MODS, METS, ONIX, Dublin Core, CCO, DACS, and general XML schemata. Additionally, I have done coursework in digital stewardship and could help with devising plans for a project's long-term storage and use. Lastly, I have a Ph.D. in late-19th-century Irish and British prose fantasy and illustration. I'd be delighted to work on any projects requiring help in any--or any combination--of these three fields (or related fields). Furthermore, I am quite interested in using DH projects for teaching--especially as student-centered educational tools--and would be delighted to participate in any projects that share that focus.
