Technical Account Manager/Part-time Engineer (Google), Editorial Board Member (Durham English Review)
I am a former student with Bachelors degrees in both Computer Science and English, am currently employed at Google, and am interested in future graduate study. Aside from my primary duty at Google as a Technical Account Manager, I work on the Google's DH tool, the Ngram Viewer (books.google.com/ngrams), and also work independently on another tool I am calling TextMensions (textmensions.blogspot.com). I have joined DH Commons to make myself available for computer programming consultation and assistance as well as any linguistic/literary expertise I can lend to analysis at hand. My period of literary study is Nineteenth-Century American literature, but I am chiefly interested in stylistic and computational analytics of literature, rhetoric, and literary theory.
