Expert skills in digital strategy, media production and interaction design. Developer of Robert Louis Stevenson website: www.robert-louis-stevenson.org. Interested in working on literary, historical, art, music and social science projects.
I am a current MLIS student and would love to be involved in a digital humanities project. Scanning, data entry, proofreading, general skills (but with knowledge of Adobe CS). Just beginning to learn programming, so not much use there yet.
Interested in collaboration on projects related to film and media, literature, and historical studies. Can provide assistance with site or project design and data entry. Also happy to beta test!
I teach high school Computer Science, which was a change after 12 years as an English teacher. I'm looking to ultimately move from a K-12 environment where we just don't have enough time to create the kinds of digital humanities projects I'm interested in. I'd love to volunteer for your project to gain some exposure to the field in the higher ed setting. The work I have done includes "Gaming Pride and Prejudice" and "Facebooking Gatsby." I can offer instructional design suggestions, user interface suggestions, some coding or CMS manipulation. I"m especially good and analyzing how the form of the digital tool can improve an audience's experience of a text. Could definitely be of assistance if you are designing for undergrads or high school students.
